Illumination Fibers for
HIS Highspeed Imaging System

The Illumination fibers are designed for the requirements of combustion engines. The fibers are protected against combustion chamber pressure and temperature by a probe (sleeve with pressure-resistant and heat-resistant window). In this combination, images can be taken while the engine is running (even under very high load). Fiberoptic offers illumination fibers with different diameters. The Illumination fibers are perfectly suitable to the high intensity LED Pxxx units. With one, two or four arms to the LED Pxxx a maximum amount of light energy is delivered into the combustion chamber in order to illuminate very quick processes such as the injection as efficiently as possible.
