The Highspeed Imaging System HIS was developed specifically for optical examinations of internal combustion engines. The system includes optical probes with customized dimensions, endoscope, lens, highspeed camera and the controller for synchronization and data acquisition.
The highspeed camera is controlled by the OCA control unit. OCA provides synchronous recording of images and combustion analysis data. The combination with the high-performance lighting system type LED-P40/LED-P80/LED-P160 enables the recording of high-resolution images of e.g. non-light emitting processes injection process.
The system can be used on multi-cylinder series engines, single-cylinder research engines, constant volume chambers.
Images and combustion parameters such as cylinder pressure are displayed on the software's user interface.
